Grey Aliens

Also known as: Greys, Zeta Reticulans, Roswell Aliens

Overview

The Grey aliens represent the most commonly reported extraterrestrial species in modern UFO literature. First entering public consciousness through the Barney and Betty Hill abduction case of 1961, the Greys have since become the archetypal image of alien life in popular culture and serious ufological research alike.

Historical Context

Reports consistent with Grey alien descriptions predate the modern UFO era. Cave paintings in Charama, India, dating to approximately 10,000 BCE, depict beings with oversized heads and large eyes that bear striking resemblance to contemporary Grey descriptions. However, the systematic cataloguing of Grey encounters began following the Roswell incident of 1947.

Classification Subtypes

Researchers have identified at least three distinct subtypes within the Grey classification:

  • Type A (Standard Grey): 3-4 feet tall, most commonly reported in abduction scenarios
  • Type B (Tall Grey): 5-6 feet tall, often described in leadership or supervisory roles
  • Type C (Grey-Human Hybrid): Varying heights, reported features blending Grey and human characteristics

Notable Encounters

The Greys have been implicated in numerous high-profile cases including the Travis Walton abduction (1975), the Whitley Strieber encounters documented in "Communion" (1987), and multiple reports from military personnel involved in the 2004 USS Nimitz UAP encounters.
