Tall Whites
Also known as: Tall White Aliens, Nevada Tall Whites
Overview
The Tall Whites gained prominence through the testimony of Charles James Hall, a former US Air Force weather observer who served at the Nellis Air Force Range (now the Nevada Test and Training Range) in the 1960s. Hall claims extensive, repeated interactions with a species of tall, pale-skinned aliens who maintained a base in the desert ranges under what appeared to be a formal agreement with the US military.
Charles Hall's Testimony
Hall documented his experiences in a four-volume series, "Millennial Hospitality" (2002-2003). He describes a species that maintained a small community in the restricted ranges, including family units with children. Hall's duty station placed him in regular proximity to the Tall Whites, leading to gradual, cautious contact. He describes beings who were curious about humans but maintained strict boundaries.
Physical Characteristics
Hall's detailed descriptions include several unusual features: Tall Whites grow throughout their lifespan, with elders reaching over 8 feet; they are extremely sensitive to heat and prefer nighttime activity; their eyes have larger irises than human eyes, appearing almost fully blue; and they communicate among themselves through a high-pitched, rapid language that human ears perceive as similar to birdsong.
Military Relationship
According to Hall, the US military maintained a hands-off policy regarding the Tall Whites, providing them with isolated territory in exchange for limited technology transfer. Military personnel were instructed never to threaten or startle the beings. Hall describes incidents where violations of these protocols led to dangerous confrontations.
