Lyrans

Also known as: Lyran Elders, Feline Beings, Vegans

Overview

The Lyrans hold a unique position in extraterrestrial taxonomy as the purported ancestral species from which all humanoid extraterrestrial races descended. Originating from the Lyra constellation — one of the oldest star regions in our galaxy — they are described as the first humanoid species to achieve interstellar travel and seed life across multiple star systems.

The Great Diaspora

According to multiple contactee accounts, the Lyrans experienced a catastrophic conflict in their home system that forced a mass exodus. This event, sometimes called the Lyran Diaspora, resulted in Lyran groups colonizing various star systems including the Pleiades, Sirius, Arcturus, and eventually Earth. This would make them the genetic ancestors of Pleiadians, some Sirian types, and potentially humans.

Feline Variant

A fascinating subset of Lyran reports describes a feline or cat-like humanoid type. These beings have features reminiscent of large cats — tawny or golden skin, slightly pointed ears, and distinctive eyes. Ancient Egyptian reverence for cats and feline deities (particularly Sekhmet and Bastet) has been interpreted by some researchers as cultural memory of contact with these feline Lyrans.

Role in Galactic History

Lyrans are described as elder statesmen within the galactic community, serving as mediators and wisdom keepers. Their ancient perspective gives them a long view of galactic events, and they are said to maintain records of galactic history spanning millions of years.
