Ebens
Also known as: Eben Aliens, Serpo Beings, J-Rod
Overview
The Ebens are the extraterrestrial species at the center of the controversial Project Serpo disclosures. According to these accounts, following the Roswell crash recovery of 1947, the US government eventually established communication with the Ebens' home world in the Zeta Reticuli system, leading to an unprecedented interplanetary exchange program.
Project Serpo
The most detailed Eben accounts come from the alleged Project Serpo, a claimed exchange program in which twelve US military personnel traveled to the Eben home planet (designated "Serpo") in 1965 aboard an Eben craft. The team reportedly spent thirteen years on Serpo before returning to Earth. Two team members allegedly died on Serpo, two chose to remain, and eight returned.
Planet Serpo
Descriptions of the Eben home world include a planet orbiting a binary star system, resulting in near-continuous daylight. The planet is described as slightly smaller than Earth with a thinner atmosphere. The Eben population is approximately 650,000, living in small communities. They have no monetary system, no apparent government buildings, and decisions are made communally.
Diplomatic Relations
The Eben-US relationship reportedly began with the recovery of a surviving crew member from the Roswell crash, designated EBE-1 (Extraterrestrial Biological Entity 1). Through EBE-1, communication was established with the Eben home world, eventually leading to face-to-face meetings and the exchange program. The diplomatic relationship is said to continue, though details remain classified.
